The ride begins from the stables in Rezzanello, following quiet woodland trails that wind through the rolling hills towards a peaceful lake.
From there, the route continues to a private dressage stable and one of the most breathtaking viewpoints in the area, offering sweeping views across the Piacenza Hills before gently returning to Rezzanello.
The route can be enjoyed entirely at a walk or, depending on the group's experience, at a more spirited pace.

The journey begins in the morning, following woodland trails and gentle ridgelines that lead, step by step, into the heart of a protected natural area.
Around midday, riders pause to enjoy a carefully prepared gourmet picnic, set in one of the most peaceful spots, surrounded by unspoilt nature.
After lunch, the trail continues towards the summit of Monte Bogo, where breathtaking views open across the rolling hills and valleys of the Piacenza Apennines.
If trail conditions allow, the adventure carries on through the enchanting Fairy Forest (Bosco delle Fate), a secluded woodland whose tranquil atmosphere has inspired local tales and legends for generations.
From there, the route gently descends, winding through the forest before reconnecting with the trail that leads back to the stables.
The ride can be enjoyed entirely at a walk or, depending on the group's experience and the terrain, at a more spirited pace.
Every gourmet picnic is thoughtfully prepared to accommodate our guests' individual dietary preferences whenever possible. Vegetarian, vegan, allergy-friendly, and intolerant-friendly options are available upon request.

Celebrated by Ernest Hemingway as "the most beautiful river in the world," the Trebbia winds through crystal-clear waters, smooth river stones and lush green landscapes, creating one of the most iconic natural settings in the Piacenza region.
This four-hour horseback adventure follows quiet country trails towards the riverbanks.
During the summer months, guests have the opportunity to pause for a refreshing swim in the cool waters of the Trebbia, sharing this unique experience alongside their horse an unforgettable moment of connection with both nature and the animal.
Throughout the rest of the year, the river offers a different kind of beauty: peaceful reflections, vibrant autumn colours, crisp winter light and the fresh blooms of spring, making every ride unique regardless of the season.

Il Fiume Trebbia
The adventure begins in the morning at the stables in Rezzanello, setting off on a two-day horseback journey through the hills and landscapes of the Tidone Valley.
After descending towards the valley, the route follows the course of the Tidone River, travelling along natural trails, woodland paths and quiet country lanes.
A packed lunch, prepared and provided by the organisers, will be enjoyed along the way before continuing the journey.
Leaving the valley floor behind, the trail gradually climbs towards Pometo, leading riders through the hills of Canevino and towards the Alessi family estate.
The estate is home to the stables of Centro Milagro and its farmhouse accommodation: a family-run retreat where equestrian life, rural hospitality and the traditional production of local cured meats come together.
Upon arrival, both horses and riders will have time to rest. Guests will be welcomed with an aperitivo, followed by a generous dinner inspired by the authentic flavours of the region.
The evening will unfold in the peaceful atmosphere of the estate before an overnight stay at the farmhouse.
The following morning begins with breakfast before riders return to the saddle and start their journey back to Rezzanello.
The route retraces the Tidone trail, revealing the same landscapes from a new perspective.
At lunchtime, the group will stop in a charming outdoor setting, where a carefully prepared open-air buffet will be waiting.
After the pause, the final stretch of the journey continues through countryside trails, with arrival back at the stables expected in the late afternoon.
Two days in the saddle, one night away from home and the time to rediscover the true meaning of travelling on horseback.
Upon request, the return journey on the second day can be enriched with a visit to one of the region's carefully selected wineries, where guests can enjoy a guided wine tasting celebrating the wines of the Oltrepò Pavese and the Piacenza Hills. A fitting way to conclude the adventure by discovering the flavours, traditions and winemaking heritage of this remarkable landscape.

La Promenade
he Mount Pillerone experience takes you through some of the most varied landscapes of the Piacenza Hills.
The ride begins along country trails, vineyards and olive groves, passing through a beautiful winery estate surrounded by aromatic plants. As we climb, the scenery gradually changes: open countryside gives way to woodland, clearings and trails rich in native vegetation, including juniper, wild rose, black pine and many other local species.
Some sections feel more intimate and adventurous, while others suddenly open onto wide views across the surrounding hills. Once we reach the summit, we stop for a picnic and give the horses time to rest before continuing the journey.
The route is adapted to each rider’s experience. For more advanced riders, when terrain and conditions allow, selected sections can also be enjoyed at a faster pace, including canter and gallop.
It is one of those rides that feels like travelling through several landscapes in a single day.

Monte Pillerone
A private overnight experience created for two people, designed to leave everyday life behind for a little while and live closer to the rhythm of the horses.
Guests stay in a private apartment located within the stables, just a few steps away from the Wander horses.
Arrival in the afternoon and time to settle into the apartment.
After meeting the horses, horse & rider matching and a short briefing, the first private ride begins through the Piacenza Hills, with the route and pace adapted to the level of both guests.
Along the way, there will be a special stop for a romantic aperitivo surrounded by nature, before riding back to the stables as the light begins to soften.
The evening is left free, with the quiet of the countryside and the horses close by.
The morning begins slowly with breakfast in the apartment.
Then it is time to return to the horses.
The second ride will be a longer journey through the landscape, leading to a carefully chosen spot for a Wander picnic for two.
After lunch, the journey continues on horseback back to the stables.
